A project by Daniel Moreira e Rita Castro Neves in collaboration with the Creative Cities of Arts and Folk Arts
In the hustle and bustle of the marketplace, we are presented with images of objects, artifacts and processes from different places: ancient ways of transforming matter to create special objects.
All over the world, we take care of this know-how, handing it down from generation to generation, researching and promoting it, giving it new meaning, even if it no longer seems as useful as it once was. The appreciation of technical and aesthetic memory and a deep sense of belonging to this world help us in this task of sharing valued and renewed local knowledge – old and alive.
